Christmas Traditions

Christmas Traditions

How do you celebrate Christmas? For many people, Christmas means attending performances of Handel's Messiah or The Nutcracker ballet or visiting Santa at Macy's 8th floor Holiday Display. These are only a few of the special events available this month in and around the Twin Cities. Holiday concerts at local colleges, theater productions of A Christmas Carol, boy choirs and VocalEssence, the Minnesota Chorale and the Minnesota Orchestra - all these and more are listed for you at the website about.com's Minneapolis/St. Paul Travel page (see link below). Be sure to check for ticket availability.

Macy's Santaland is once again on display until December 24. Enjoy a meal with Santa (tickets required) or just stop by to say hello. See what the elves are up to and consider participating in Macy's Believe Campaign. Downtown Minneapolis is also host to Holidazzle 2016 Thursdays-Sundays until December 23. Eat, shop, skate, enjoy the lights and music with family and friends. For more information about parking and activities go to http://www.holidazzle.com/about/
