Fall at the CSA farm

Fall at the CSA farm

Guy Clark said it best??Ain?t nothin? in the world that I like better/Than bacon & lettuce & home grown tomatoes?? Ask current CSA members and they are likely to agree, especially if their home grown tomatoes come from a local CSA farm.

CSAs, Community Supported Agriculture Farms, have grown in abundance and popularity in the last decade. They offer memberships for summer and fall deliveries as well as selling their products at farm markets. Everything they offer is locally produced, from apples and tomatoes to eggs, meat, and poultry. CSA seasons last 18-20 weeks beginning about mid-June and extend through October. Visit organic CSA farms Abundant Vine in Farmington or Simple Harvest Farm Organics in Nerstrand for a taste of fresh and local products. To find a CSA near you see www.localharvest.org/csa/
